Here's a bit of honesty: over the past few years I've fallen farther and farther away from being an artist. Last time I updated this journal (as random and pointless as this update will be, I assure you) I talked about how I don't really crave internet fame for my art anymore and how as I've grown up I've cared less about getting myself out there. These things still ring true. However, I'm in sort of a tough spot right now... it's been so long since I've produced anything notable art-wise that I don't really think I deserve to be called an artist anymore. At this very moment, I am writing you a letter instead of doing my homework (which, to be fair, is not actually due until tomorrow night). I haven't uploaded a single thing on any of my three accounts since July 17, 2013. It is approaching one year since I've put up any art. I think it's because I'm growing up. Which is a loaded thing to say and I mean a few different things by this. Growing up is a multi-faceted thing. First and foremost, it means that's I'm an adult. My time is quite divided now. Gone are the easy days of high school, where I spent 8 hours daily in a classroom where I learned basically nothing and sat around drawing when I'
